Es gibt was Neues für alle Fans von Arch Enemy – zwar keine neue Musik, aber immerhin neue Visuals. Der Metal-Fünfer veröffentlicht dieser Tage nämlich das mittlerweile siebte Musikvideo zum aktuellen Album „Deceiver“. Dieses Mal bekommt der Albumtrack „Poisoned Arrow“ eine filmische Inszenierung spendiert.
„The video was shot in Berlin, Germany during a hectic whirlwind schedule with director Mirko Witzki and his talented crew - they even made it snow in the middle of the sweltering German summer heat!
Here’s another Deutschland connection for you; our German friend Raphy played the beautiful cello part on the intro and outro of the song, thanks again mate!“, erklärt Gitarrist Michael Amott.
Mit dem Videorelease startet die Band auch in ihre Live-Saison 2023. „2023 is upon us and Arch Enemy is back on the road again, we launch the proceeding in New Zealand, Australia and Japan and have a big European summer run too“, fährt Amott fort. Und macht auch eine kleine Andeutung in Richtung Zukunft: „Who knows where we’ll go after that…!“
In Deutschland wird Arch Enemy im Sommer bei Rock am Ring, Rock im Park und dem Rock Harz Festival zu sehen sein.
