Ben Funkhouser aka fish narc started working in underground music as a high school student in the late 00s, attending, booking and performing DIY shows in the Pacific Northwest. His love for punk, indie, noise and rap led him from songwriting to producing and back. His most recent release, 2025's frog song, came out on the storied indie label K Records, and marked a clear shift back to his PNW rock roots. The just released full length Uncle presents a more honed and polished take on the 80s and 90s rock music that inspired his recent oeuvre, and was produced in collaboration with Alex Farrar.
