DEATHRITE bring their filthy black-death-punk to Berlin.For over a decade, Leipzig's Deathrite have refused to sit in any one box – black metal, death metal, crust and noise punk all grind together in a sound that's grimy, groovy and genuinely vicious.

Razor-sharp riffs, d-beat drive and raw, raspy vocals, cut through with unsettling tremolo leads: extreme metal played with pure punk intent.Their latest album Flames Licking Fever picks up where their EP Delirium left off – a fever dream through the darkest and most vicious corners of the mind and soul, somewhere between ecstasy and psychosis.

Live, it hits with relentless intensity and no room to breathe.Opening the night are Berlin's RAZE, featuring members of Maggot Heart, Girlschool and Occvlta. Drawing on Sepultura, Sacrilege and Venom, they deal in fast, aggressive heavy metal with no let-up – and after building a serious live reputation, they release their debut album this autumn.
