Considering the excellent venue (Metropol) and theme/focus on music from the 80's, this event should have been an epic success...it was not.
While the turn-out was at the lower end, my main reasoning for 1* was the organizer's choice of DJ. If you are hired to DJ an event called "Back To The Gayties" there are certain expectations you need to fulfill: Play back to back dance hits from the 80's (of which there are many) and read the room to ensure most of the crowd you have been hired to entert...
