Die Villa Esche ist mit dem Rollstuhl nur bis zum 2. OG erreichbar (Fahrstuhl). Zum Veranstaltungsraum im Dachgeschoss führt eine gegenüber des Fahrstuhls gelegene gewundene Treppe mit 18 Stufen. Das Haus verfügt über einen Behindertenlift am Nebeneingang (Fläche des Lifts 100 cm x 63 cm!), der vom Personal des Veranstaltungsservice und des Museums bedient werden kann. Für die Benutzung ist eine rechtzeitige Anmeldung beim Veranstaltungsservice unter +49 (0)371 4508-510 erforderlich.
