Zucchero, born Adelmo Fornaciari, is one of Italy’s most successful and internationally recognized musicians. His style fuses blues, soul, rock, and Italian songwriting tradition, earning him the nickname “the father of Italian blues.”
His breakthrough came with the album Oro Incenso & Birra (1989), one of the best-selling Italian albums of all time. He has collaborated with world-renowned artists such as Eric Clapton, Sting, B.B. King, Luciano Pavarotti, Bono, and Andrea Bocelli (with whom he co-created the hit Miserere).
Zucchero has performed on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including the Royal Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Montreux Jazz Festival.
