Wedding - having play Synästhesie 2023, Wedding return to the intimate setting of 8MM after a powerful year. A marriage between club and concert, Wedding’s post-club textures meet immersive live energy, creating transcendent moments suspended between the dancefloor and the band.
LYZZA - Uploading music and DJing clubs and Vogue Balls at fifteen, LYZZA quickly moved from the internet and basements into some of the world’s most influential dance floors and stages. Her first EP, PowerPlay, helped shape the language of what would come to be known as deconstructed club music, almost a decade ahead of its time. Since then, her work has taken her from collaborations with SOPHIE, Nicolas Jaar and Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) to working with the Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry estate and becoming the youngest artist to exhibit at London’s Serpentine Gallery.
Moving between club, gallery, radio and runway, LYZZA uses rhythm, bass and distortion to get at something you can sense before you can name it, treating sound as a way to uncover the hidden links between shared experience and feelings.
