Ein besonderes Konzert. Besetzung: Oud, Violine, Cello, Schlagzeug. Viele Stücke von Rabih Abou-Khalil haben für unseren Ohren komplizierte rhythmische Grundstrukturen (13/8; 15/8 etc.) worauf sehr schön gespielt und improvisiert wurde. Es fehlten Akkorde, in sofern war es traditionell arabisch. Es fehlten aber auch Mikro-Ton Intervalle, wie man es aus der Musik von Libanon und den Nahen Osten normalerweise kennt. Wir kamen extra 550 km angereist.
Ziemlich sterile Location. Sound war aber gut.
Publikum eher "gesetzt".
Schade, dass meine Tochter kein Autogramm bekam. Der Drummer hat uns ein bisschen abgewimmelt.
Insgesamt ein schönes Event.
Rabih Abou Khalil ist eben ein Großmeister!
