Das Orchester war einmalig. In Verbindung mit dem Dirigenten unübertroffen!
Wehrmutstropfen war die vokale Einführung zu Gustav Mahlers Musik. Wie in der Schule und absolut unpassend! Sollte man in Zukunft lassen. Ähnliches habe ich bisher nur bei Die Zauberflöte für Kinder erlebt. Hat leider das Gesamtevent negativ beeinflusst. Zum Glück war die zu Beginn der Veranstaltung. Das nachfolgende Musikerlebnis hat dies dann Gott sei Dank vergessen lassen!!!!

Die gespielten Werke von Debussy und Ravel waren einfach meisterhaft. Als Dirigent Charles Dutoit in voller Inspiration und Perfektion. Ein Erlebnis. Die Halle der Berliner Philharmoniker gehört noch bei hervorragender Akustik in jedem Sitzplatz mit Sicherheit zu einer der besten der Welt.
