Berlin-based singer-songwriter blending indie-folk intimacy with alt-pop edge
With her unique blend of alternative-pop, indie, and contemporary folk, Lea Wilms crafts music that feels both timeless and refreshingly new. Her songs balance introspection and emotional depth with a modern, captivating sound that lingers long after the last note.
Raised in a German smal town on the banks of the Rhine, Lea grew up inspired by the likes of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and The Beatles. She began writing poetry as a child, transforming her words into songs when she picked up her first guitar at 14. Her lyrics explore love, loss, and identity with raw honesty, gently untangling the complexities of early adulthood.
At 19, Lea moved to Manchester and immersed herself in the city’s vibrant music scene. The four years she spent there added grit and edge to her sound, shaping the artist she is today. Now based in Berlin, her quietly powerful performances invite listeners to slow down and share in her world, offering warmth and stilness in a city that never stops moving. Her debut album Marbles was released in November 2025, recorded with producer James Wyatt at Sloe Flower Studio in Chester, England. The record weaves together the sounds and places that have shaped her journey so far, capturing the emotional colisions of her early 20s in shimmering, heartfelt detail.
