Group Phase D will take place from June 19th to June 22nd, 2025 on three game days at Inselpark Arena Hamburg. Come visit Hamburg for a short vacation as a prolonged weekend and take in all the sights and views – including Europe’s best basketball in the district of Wilhelmsburg.

Due to a reduced capacity at Inselpark Arena only 9.500 fans can watch the games of FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2025 in Hamburg. No other team is scheduled yet in the hosting city of Hamburg except for the German team. Possible teams to join Germany in Hamburg are Vize-Olympic Champion France, the current European Champions from Belgium or the 6th placed team from the World Cup 2022 from Serbia. The Draw of the EuroBasket will be on March 8th, 2025.
16 teams will fight for the title – 4 teams in Hamburg
Since the implementation of the co-hosting format of the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket it is the first time of a four-host-format. From the 16 participating teams, each group winners and second placed teams will move to Piraeus and fight for the title as well as important point of the nations ranking for the qualification of the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 in Berlin. With their 6th place at the last Women’s EuroBasket in 2023 and the 7th place at the Olympic Games in Paris, the German team want to continue their rise and “Dare to Dream” big.

Die Halle ist grundsätzlich super. Allerdings hatten wir keine gute Sicht auf das Spielfeld, obwohl wir Reihe 6 saßen. Der Grund: Ein unauffälliges Geländer vor unseren Sitzen wurde für die EM voll verkleidet, so dass man nicht das komplette Spielfeld sehen konnte. Vollen Preis bezahlt, aber Karten mit Sichteinschränkung bekommen. Das ist nicht fair!

Die Stehplätze haben eine schlechte Sicht. Wer Pech hat steht mit seinen Kindern in der zweiten Reihe, weil andere es nicht für nötig halten etwas zusammen zu rutschen. Das Konzept funktioniert nicht.
