Back To The Gayties

Die Örtlichkeit kannte ich noch nicht und fand sie hervorragend. Eine sehr schöne Bar, tolle Musik und ein nettes Publikum.

Considering the excellent venue (Metropol) and theme/focus on music from the 80's, this event should have been an epic success...it was not. While the turn-out was at the lower end, my main reasoning for 1* was the organizer's choice of DJ. If you are hired to DJ an event called "Back To The Gayties" there are certain expectations you need to fulfill: Play back to back dance hits from the 80's (of which there are many) and read the room to ensure most of the crowd you have been hired to entert...
