From January 13 to 31, 2027, Germany will host the 28th IHF Men’s World Championship. Get your tickets now and experience world-class handball live in Munich, Stuttgart, Kiel, Magdeburg, Hanover and Cologne!

The German national team will start their tournament in Munich and will continue in Cologne for the main and final round (if qualified).

The new SAP Garden offers space for 11,000 fans. On January 13, 2027, the German national team will start its home World Championship here. Munich will host two preliminary round groups.

The LANXESS arena, the “Cathedral of Handball,” will once again host the decisive stages of a World Championship. With 19,750 spectators, the main and final rounds will take place here.

Tickets for HANOVER

In the ZAG Arena, home of TSV Hannover-Burgdorf, the best teams of the tournament will compete in the main round. With a capacity of 10,000 fans, Hanover will become the stage for decisive and high-intensity matches in January 2027.

The Porsche-Arena has long been a landmark of German handball, and has hosted the mens world championship in 2007 and the womens world championship in 2025. With space for 5,600 fans , Stuttgart will again be a preliminary round venue in 2027 for two groups.

The MERKUR Ostseehalle is a true handball stronghold. With 8,000 spectators, Kiel will once again host the preliminary round, offering world-class handball and passionate fans in northern Germany.

The GETEC Arena, home to the SC Magdeburg, holds 6,500 fans. Magdeburg will host the preliminary round for two groups and the Presidents’ Cup.
