Und die schnöden Statistiken legen nahe: Da wird der eine oder andere Hit drunter sein – denn bisher hat’s verlässlich in den Charts gekracht, wenn das Duo gemeinsam im Studio war: 35 Platin-Auszeichnungen, 8 Milliarden Streams, 5 Milliarden Video-Aufrufe und 6 Millionen verkaufte Singles konnten sie mit Songs wie „Titanium“, „Flames“ oder „She Wolf“ bislang einheimsen. Und mit „Beautiful People“ dürften weitere hinzukommen.
Mit dem Song schließt Guetta nahtlos an seine jüngste Single „Forever Young“ mit Ava Max und den 80ies-Veteranen Alphaville an – der Song war in Deutschland in den Top 1ß und auch international ein großer Erfolg. Ob es die Songs im Sommer auch zu hören gibt, wenn Guetta nach Deutschland kommt? Mit seiner „The Monolith Stadium Tour“ gastiert er am 26. Juli in Düsseldorf.
