Eine überschaubare Menge an Leuten - ich hätte mehr erwartet - fand sich am Dienstagabend ein, um dem Duo aus England zu lauschen. Die sind total sympathisch. Leider ist der Funke nicht so ganz übergesprungen, was vielleicht auch daran lag, dass Chris gleich zu Beginn zwei Gitarren schrottete und den Rest des Abends mit der letzten verbliebenen Gitarre auskommen musste. Klanglich war das natürlich nicht optimal, aber wie Chris seine Gitarre bearbeitet, war sehenswert. Uns hat es sehr gut gefalle...

I last saw the members of Ida Mae in their earlier band nearly 15 years ago at the Y-not Festival in the UK. It was wonderful to find out they were playing nearby, and they didn't disappoint.
