Nicht umsonst werden die Konzerte dieser furiosen Band um Sänger, Gitarrist und Songwriter Dave Matthews seit zehn Jahren kontinuierlich unter den Top 10 der "profitabelsten Tourneen" des Landes geführt. Das "Rolling Stone"-Magazin nannte diese amerikanische Live-Institution sogar "America's Biggest Band".

Mehr als 35 Millionen verkaufte Studioalben sowie etliche Millionen Exemplare ihrer elf Live-Platten sprechen eine deutliche Sprache. Mit dem im Frühjahr erschienenen, achten Studioalbum "Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King" kommt die Dave Matthews Band jetzt auf große Europa-Tournee, in deren Rahmen sie im Februar/März auch in Deutschland Halt macht.
