Zwei Jahre haben AFI an ihrem neuen Album "Crash Love" gearbeitet. Produziert wurde mit Joe McGrath and Jacknife Lee (u.a. Alkaline Trio, Morrissey). Songs wie "Medicate", "Veronica Sawyer Smokes", "End Transmission" oder "Beautiful Thieves" zeigen AFI in Topform und lassen Sänger Davey Havok folgende extrem euphorische Töne zum neuen Album anstimmen: "Honestly I've never been more proud of an AFI record. We are thrilled to hear it come to life". "Crash Love" ist der Nachfolger zum 2006er Album "Decemberunderground", das in in den USA auf Platz 1 der Billboard Charts einsteigen konnte und genauso wie das 2003er Werk "Sing The Sorrow" Platinsatus erreichte.
