Kamelot
In Tampa, Florida, gründet Gitarrist Thomas Youngblood im Jahre 1991 die Band Kamelot und überzeugt in Zeiten von Death Metal und Co mit ehrlichem, melodischem, druckvollem Metal der alten Schule. Allerdings braucht die Kombo einige Jahre bis sie sich in die Herzen der Fans spielen kann und so geht die Post auch eigentlich erst im neuen Jahrtausend so richtig ab.
Inzwischen dürften sie mehrmals um den Globus getourt sein und auch in unseren Gefilden sind sie gern gesehene Gäste, unter anderem auf dem berüchtigten Wacken Open Air. Im nächsten Frühjahr kommen Kamelot erneut auf Tour nach Europa und werden auch Deutschland ansteuern.
