Wiener Klassik

Die Klassische Philharmonie Bonn wurde 1986 gegründet. Sie entstand aus dem Chur Cölnischen Orchester, einem erweiterten Kammerorchester mit Bläsern. Die heutige Orchesterstärke beträgt bis zu 60 Personen. Die Literatur reicht von der Musik des Barock bis zur Moderne. Die durch den Namen des Orchesters ausgewiesenen programmatischen Schwerpunkte liegen bei den Werken der Wiener Klassik - Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven -, aber auch bei den Werken der Zeitgenossen, Schüler und Adepten.

Chefdirigent ist Prof. Beissel. Seine Laufbahn ging über die Oper Bonn zu den Hamburger Symphonikern und zuletzt als Generalmusikdirektor des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt zum Philharmonischen Staatsorchester Halle. Er ist Gastdirigent bei zahlreichen Orchestern im In- und Ausland und kann eine ausgedehnte Diskographie vorweisen.
